Birthday Books

Recognize Your Child's Birthday and Help Grow Our School Library

For a donation of $20, a new book based on your child's interests will be purchased for the school library and a bookplate will be placed in the book recognizing your child as the donor. During your child's regular library day closest to his or her birthday, the book will be shown to the class and your child will have the first opportunity to check out this book from the library.

To participate, return the Birthday Book form along with a $20 donation (made payable to "BC PTO") in an envelope marked "Birthday Books" at least one month prior to your child's birthday. For those children with a summer birthday, recognition will take place at the child's half-birthday. For example, if your child's birthday is July 15, return your form and payment by December 15 for recognition on the student's classroom library day closest to January 15.
